Project title: Reducing the Energy Performance of the Public Building of the Internal Department of the Strahov General University Hospital in Prague
Start date: June 1, 2019
Implementation End Date: January 31, 2023
Budget: CZK 32,330,312 (of which the total subsidy amounted to CZK 16,041,596.45 and the VFN's own resources amounted to CZK 16,288,715.55)
Implementer: Technical and Operational Section of the General Teaching Hospital
The General University Hospital in Prague received funding for the project "UV955 / 2016 Reducing the Energy Performance of the Public Building of the Internal Department of the Strahov General University Hospital in Prague" from the Operational Program Environment, Call No. 100 - Priority Axis 5: Energy savings, Specific objective: 5.1 - Reduce the energy performance of public buildings and increase the use of renewable energy sources. At the same time, the Ministry of the Environment approved an increase in own resources from the New Green Savings Program - Public Sector Buildings.
The aim of the project is to reduce the energy intensity of the public building of the Internal Department of the Strahov General University Hospital in Prague at the address Šermířská 1921/4, 169 00 Praha 6 - Břevnov. The reason for this is the solution of the unsatisfactory thermal and technical properties of the building envelope and the accidental condition of the building shell and roof. The benefit of the project will be the reduction of final energy consumption during the operation of the public building and thus the reduction of emissions of air pollutants, while contributing to the fulfillment of the objective of meeting the limit values set by national and European legislation (Directives 2008/50 / EC and 2004/107 / EC, Act no. 201/2012 Coll., On air protection) and national emission ceilings (Directive 2001/80 / EC and the Gothenburg Protocol to the Convention on Long-range Transboundary Air Pollution). According to the call conditions, the final energy consumption will be reduced by at least 40% compared to 2018.
Project activities:
Execution of partial energy-saving renovation of the building by thermal insulation of vertical and horizontal building envelope and replacement and refurbishment of opening fillings based on elaborated project documentation (insulation of heavy external walls, perimeter walls in loggias, underground perimeter walls and flat roofs; , replacement of wooden and steel windows and glass walls, replacement of steel and wooden doors).
Implementation of measures having a demonstrably impact on the energy performance of a building or improving the quality of the indoor environment - reconstruction of interior lighting, measurement and control systems of heating, etc. (adjustments in the hydraulic connection of the heat source, regulation of the heating system).
This project is co-financed by the European Union - Cohesion Fund within the Operational Program Environment.
