Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the General University Hospital in Prague decided to suppress all non-acute procedures and examinations. This is a care whose postponement does not endanger the patient's health. On the contrary, all acute care works in the hospital. "We try to delay non-acute procedures and examinations to have sufficient capacity for patients infected with coronavirus. The decision as to whether or not treatment can be postponed depends on the judgment of the physician assessing the specific case. If the procedure is postponed, the patient will always be advised of the next steps.“Said the director of the General Teaching Hospital prof.
