In view of the positive development of the epidemiological situation in the Czech Republic, healthcare in the General Teaching Hospital has gradually started to expand. Renewal of normal operation concerns both ambulances and inpatient departments. Of course there is sufficient reserve for possible patients with coronavirus.
Despite some relaxation, strict anti-epidemic measures remain in place in the hospital. Arrivals should not forget the mask and hand hygiene, they should keep the spacing and minimize touches. Patients must make an appointment by telephone or online for examinations and controls, and the maximum number of people in the waiting room is limited. Patients who have cough, fever, or are mentally ill should not come directly to the hospital, but should consult their general practitioner or hygiene center as a standard.
