The modernization of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Clinic of the General Hospital is a bit further again! A large investment requires long preparations, and in the case of the unique listed building of the U Apolináře maternity hospital, this is doubly true. But we have already got from the ideas to the real preparation of the project! The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic has registered the preparatory phase, which ends in the spring of 2023 with a construction program and feasibility studies. These are the last steps to announce an architectural competition in the summer of 2023.

At present, our hospital has already signed a contract for geodetic surveying, the investment and development department has selected the most advantageous offer and other preparatory work of the competitions on the basis of a public tender. Surveying work has begun on the premises of the gynecological and obstetric clinic. We use 3D laser scan for them and thanks to that we will be able to perform all project documentation in BIM and manage the entire building in a digital environment in the future.

In a matter of days, we will launch a competition for construction technical research and evaluate construction historical research. The results of surveys and geodetic surveys will be the basis for entering the construction program in the autumn of this year.
