Japan and WHO donated coolers to us
The World Health Organization (WHO) and the Japanese government donated 20 special refrigerators and freezers for vaccine storage to our hospital.
At VFN, we took over 20 cooling boxes today, which will be used, for example, at the III. internal clinic, Children's Clinic of Pediatrics and Hereditary Disorders of Metabolism VFN or in the pharmacy. The ceremony was attended by Minister of Health Vlastimil Válek, Head of the WHO Office in the Czech Republic Zsofia Pusztai, Ambassador of Japan to the Czech Republic Hideo Suzuki and VFN Deputy for Trade Martina Podešťová.
The World Health Organization and the Japanese government are donating a total of 287 special refrigerators and freezers to the Czech Republic, which will gradually be received by all Czech university hospitals and health institutes. In total, the aid is worth roughly 4.2 billion crowns.
