We help Ukraine!
On Friday, at the 1st Surgical Clinic, we received hundreds of surgical instruments from the Czech Red Cross, which the clinic staff divided into 165 special sets during the weekend and subsequently sterilized. Doctors in Ukraine will be able to use them immediately not only in the hospital, but especially in field conditions where there is no room for sterilization. These are sets of tools for the treatment of major lacerations or other wounds, deep bleeding, for use in abdominal surgery, for minor bone modifications and possibly amputations.
A total of 50 CRC medical backpacks contain, in addition to sterile sets of surgical instruments, also dressing equipment or, for example, sewing. The CRC's humanitarian aid shipment went to Ukraine yesterday. It will be taken over by the Ukrainian Red Cross.
