Last week, the 1st interdisciplinary congress of airway diagnostics and intervention took place. The aim of the professional meeting "RESPIRATORY PATHWAYS - PATHWAYS BETWEEN DISCIPLINES" was to highlight the need for greater cooperation and information linkage between disciplines - pulmonary endoscopy, acute medicine and thoracic surgery. The congress confirmed that the emphasis on proper interdisciplinary coordination of individual diagnostic and therapeutic steps is essential in contemporary medicine.
