| Clinic of palliative medicine

Time: 0.5 (20 hours per week)

We are looking for a health and social worker to join the team, who will expand the existing clinic team and, together with other team members, provide care to patients and their loved ones and participate in the development of palliative care.

WHAT DO YOU WANT TO DO?

  • You will provide professional and empathetic support to patients and their loved ones, or survivors.
  • Collaborate with doctors and the palliative care team in the care of the patient and their loved ones in situations of diagnosing the disease or changing the treatment plan, in communication-complex situations, in cases of unfavorable prognosis for the patient at the end of life, in planned discharge
  • Coordinate the provision of continuity of services, social and financial advice, support for carers, etc.
  • Collaborate multidisciplinary within a support team
  • Participate in the education of other professionals, in the scientific academic activities of the clinic
  • If you are interested, you will have the opportunity to develop in the area of staff care, pediatric patients, and perinatal issues
  • Participate in professional, coordination and organizational team meetings
  • Work with a standard hospital information system
  • You will collaborate with colleagues from other professions in caring for the sick and their loved ones

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have graduated from a secondary school/university as a health and social worker
  • You have the professional qualification to practice the profession of a health and social worker according to Act No. 96/2004 Coll.
  • Are you willing to develop your expertise in line with the clinic's values?
  • You are a graduate or a seasoned pro - all of us have doors open
  • Experience in a healthcare facility or specialized palliative care provider is an advantage
  • You have user IT skills
  • Your knowledge of AJ and the ability to communicate professionally in a foreign language are an advantage
  • You are flexible and willing to work in changing conditions
  • You have good communication skills, balance and patience
  • An active approach to work and responsibility is not strange to you
  • You are able to work alone and in a team
  • Can you prove us moral and civil integrity (pure criminal record)
