Project brief:
The project is supported under the call CEF TELECOM 2018 of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) - an area of the trans-European telecommunications network managed by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency.
The General Teaching Hospital participates in the project as the only co-beneficiary. The main researcher in the Czech Republic is prof. MUDr. Pavla Dolezalova, CSc. from the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine. The project coordinator is the University Medical Center Utrecht from the Netherlands.
This is a follow-up project to the grant "CEF Telecom ERN RITA Core Services IT Helpdesk“, Which KDDL successfully implemented from June 2018 until September 2019. The project aims to provide technical support for the involvement of the General Teaching Hospital in the European Reference Networks for Rare Diseases (specifically ERN RITA).
The project will last 18 months and will include 3 main activities:
- implementation of e-learning activities and other training incl. identification of educational needs and potential barriers for optimal setup and use of ECP and CPMS applications
- incorporation of special requirements and needs of ERN RITA into CPMS, optimization of data packages for ERN RITA
- provision of other helpdesk functions according to the project description, acquisition of HW / SW necessary for successful implementation of project activities
Helpdesk staff will be available for the entire ERN RITA membership base (currently 24 partners from 10 EU Member States).
