Project brief:

The General University Hospital in Prague received within Challenges No. 61 Building children's groups (2) Operational program Employment plus funds for the project "Building and operation of children's group II in VFN".

The goal of the project is to ensure the availability of child care services to a greater number of employees of the General University Hospital in Prague by increasing the capacity at the place of its implementation.

In the first phase of the project, it will be possible to create a children's group with a total capacity of 9 places in accordance with Act No. 247/2014. The new child care facility will be located in newly renovated premises adjacent to the already existing children's group "Kindergarten in VFN - children's group I".

In the second phase of the project, the very operation of the newly established corporate children's group will be financially supported for a period of 12 months.

The childcare service at the General University Hospital in Prague provides the option of childcare for families where at least one person is linked to the labor market and is therefore an employee of VFN in Prague. VFN in Prague will enable its employees to maximally reconcile private and work life. Thanks to the project, the conditions for the employment of parents, especially women, with children will be improved, and it will be possible for people caring for a dependent family member to stay on the labor market more easily.

At the same time, the project will contribute to greater stability of the child care service at the General University Hospital in Prague.
