Project brief:
The project aims to create a comprehensive system of education of nurses and physicians of the neonatology department of VFN and its implementation in the form of courses, seminars, training and practice of practical skills.
The project will include:
- courses and seminars with a fixed schedule with the latest incorporation of the latest knowledge and trends in the field, including the participation of internal lecturers (neonatology department staff) at prestigious international congresses in Europe and the USA;
- practical training for nurses and emerging physicians - training on a (phantom) model and practical training in bedside practice;
- creation of new, accessible methods for all employees in the form of e-learning materials (educational films, on-line tests and courses).
The individual activities are divided so as to pay attention to the training of nurses and young doctors, so as to continuously increase the level of all physicians working in the department. The system envisages incorporating current knowledge and trends into practice at the department. The project will involve all doctors and all nurses of the neonatology department working in the intensive and resuscitation care departments, intermediate and ward care departments (about 40 nurses and about 14 doctors).
