Project brief:
In May 2015, the General University Hospital in Prague launched the project “Increasing the level of equipment of the KOC workplaces in the General Teaching Hospital in Prague”, registration number CZ.1.06 / 3.2.01 / 19.09740. The project, which is co-financed by the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund from almost 45%, was supported under the 19th call of the Integrated Operational Program, Intervention area 3.2 - Public Health Services, Supported Activities - 3.2a Controlled Modernization and Renewal of Instrumentation (medical devices) of national networks of medical facilities, including technical facilities.
The main objective of the project is to modernize and renew the instrumentation of specialized workplaces of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague, which is part of the Comprehensive Cancer Center, in accordance with the standards for comprehensive cancer care. The project involves the restoration of the Digital Skiascopic - Skiagraphic System and the acquisition of a completely new Multifunctional System for Endoscopic Operations (endoscopic system for ENT with navigation).
The project will contribute to increasing the quality and possibilities of imaging diagnostics, to reducing unnecessary burdens for oncologically ill patients and to significantly increase the efficiency of used technologies in providing care to cancer patients.
