Code: Course for general nurses in gastroenterology and hepatology

Description: Certified course of MZ ČR

The course is designed for:

for general nurses working in outpatient and inpatient wards of gastroenterology and hepatology.

During the course, the graduate will get acquainted with the systematic gastroenterology, as well as other related fields related to digestive tract and liver diseases, undergo practical training at the endoscopic workplace of the clinic, prepare the patient for examination, assist in the examination and provide nursing care for the patient after examination or a therapeutic intervention. Special attention is paid to diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, biopsy methods, imaging methods and functional examination of the digestive tract.

Entry requirements:

completion of qualification studies and adaptation process
fitness to practice without a professional supervision

Schedule:

Theoretical part = 38 hrs.

Practical part = 80 hours, ie 10 days.

Course date in 2024:

Dates will be set according to the number of candidates.

Venue:

Theoretical part: takes place in auditorium IV. of the Internal Clinic of General Teaching Hospital, U Nemocnice 499/2, Prague 2.

Practical part: takes place at specialized workplaces IV. internal clinics of the General Hospital

Termination method:

Upon successful completion of the course, the participant will receive a certificate from the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

CZK 10,000

The participation of an employee of the General Teaching Hospital in Prague is CZK 1,000
