Description: Certified course of MZ ČR

The aim of the certified course is the theoretical and practical training of non-medical healthcare workers (general nurses, midwives and paramedics) for the care of critically ill patients, especially with cardiological and angiological issues, in all phases of acute illness. nursing care provided to patients who have or are at risk of basic vital signs.

The course is designed for general nurses and midwives of intensive care units, qualified to practice the medical profession without professional supervision, and for paramedics, nurses and midwives with specialized competence in the field.

The course is realized in cooperation with II. internal clinic VFN.

Entry requirements:

completion of qualification studies and adaptation process
fitness to practice without a professional supervision
experience of at least 1 year in intensive care patient care

Schedule:

The one-hour grant for the whole course is 60 hours.

Theoretical part: II. Internal Clinic of General Teaching Hospital, U Nemocnice 499/2, Prague 2

Practical part: the practical part takes place at specialized workplaces II. internal clinics (coronary unit of catheterization department, electrophysiology department, angiology center).
