European countries with West Nile virus (WNV) infection

A list of European countries or regions whose visit is a reason for temporary exclusion from blood donation due to the risk of transmission of West Nile virus (WNV) infection to humans has been newly published on the website of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic.

Czech Registry of Hematopoietic Cell Donors

Dear donors and blood donors

Due to the increasing number of inquiries about the possibility of registering in the bone marrow (hematopoietic cell) donor registry, we would like to remind you that we are the recruitment center of the Czech Hematopoietic Cell Donor Registry IKEM and you can also join the registry with us.

The actual registration consists of filling out a simple questionnaire and taking a blood sample for laboratory examination. Another option is to ask the Czech Registry of Hematopoietic Cell Donors IKEM for a collection kit for a swab from the oral mucosa, perform the collection at home and bring the collected material with you to registration.

Jistebnice Half Marathon

We are joining the half marathon initiative in Jistebník.
