Dear donors and blood donors

We would like to address you with a request for help in the treatment of patients who have not yet recovered from COVID-19.

Conditions for donating so-called convalescent plasma:

1. The cured individual meets the general conditions for the donation of blood and blood components (health status, age, weight, travel and drug restrictions - for details - see general information and current information for blood donors).
2. The donor never received a blood transfusion, the donor did not receive a blood transfusion and was not pregnant.
3. The course of COVID-19 disease with fever (temperature at least 38.0 ° C), or 3 days with a temperature above 37.5 ° C.
4. Plasma collection is possible no earlier than 2 weeks and no later than 2 months after the end of isolation due to COVID19.

We are registering an increased demand of clinical departments for convalescent plasma in blood group AB.

In case that you meet them all above conditions, please contact us on working days in between 11.30-15.00 on telephone number 224 963 112 or 224 962 757 and order covid-convalescent plasma.

If you do not meet the conditions for donating convalescent plasma, but you do meet the conditions for blood donation - see general information and current information for blood donors), we will be happy if you join our register of blood donors.

If you have someone in your area who you know has contracted COVID-19, please pass on the above information about the possibility of donating convalescent plasma.
