Information for patients
Examination in outpatient clinics is only possible by prior arrangement!
Before the start of rehabilitation, the patient is first examined by a rehabilitation doctor so that it is possible to proceed with the therapy individually. With regard to the need to provide rehabilitation primarily for the needs of VFN workplaces (including inpatient departments), the outpatient capacity of the workplace is limited.
The Albertov ambulance is intended mainly for patients with acquired brain damage (see the chapter “Specialized centers”) and as a counseling center for patients with more severe functional disabilities.
If you are interested in a day hospital, order it from the Albertov file. The recommendation of a neurologist, general practitioner, rehabilitation or other attending physician is suitable for the initial examination. Bring medical records with you to the doctor's examination, including old reports concerning your disease, findings from imaging methods (CT, MRI) and contact a general practitioner.
The department at the Faculty Polyclinic is a purely outpatient operation and focuses on both trauma and orthopedic and vertebrogenic patients.
The department has a medium-sized operation of physical therapy (electrotherapy, magnet, ultrasound, whirlpools, instrumental lymphatic drainage). Ordering is possible at the reception by phone or in person.
Ambulance on III. The internal clinic is smaller in scope, it is focused on patients with musculoskeletal pain of various origins, post-traumatic and post-operative conditions. The workplace also includes the operation of physical therapy (electrotherapy, magnet, ultrasound, whirlpools, paraffin hand wraps).
Ambulance on IV. The internal clinic is smaller in scope, it is focused on patients with post - traumatic and postoperative conditions, musculoskeletal pain of various origins, cardiac and angiological patients (TOS - thoracic outlet syndrome). He has limited operation of physical therapy (magnet, ultrasound, electrotherapy).
The detached workplace of physiotherapists at the Dental Clinic of the General Hospital, in cooperation with local doctors, deals with the issue of the orofacial area, including diseases of the jaw joint.
