For radiotherapy we have a state-of-the-art device, the so-called helical tomotherapy. It is a special design irradiator that allows a spiral dose of radiation to be delivered to the patient. This system combines high precision, maximum economy and versatility.
With tomotherapy, we are able to treat all malignant tumors that require the application of ionizing radiation. We specialize mainly in breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, head and neck tumors, malignant lymphomas and digestive tract tumors. As one of the few in the Czech Republic, we also perform ultra-precise, so-called stereotactic radiotherapy, especially in lung tumors, and in isolated metastases anywhere in the body. We use so-called PET / CT functional imaging (choline, thymidine, fluciclovin) to accurately locate the tumor site. We have also introduced advanced artificial intelligence tools to accelerate and improve the radiotherapy process.
